Designed with contemporary manufacturing techniques and oozing with vintage tone, the AC4C1-BL chassis showcases Vox's all tube design technology.

The AC4C1 circuit has two 12AX7 preamp tubes, one EL84 output tube and diode rectification. Like the original JMI AC-4, the AC4C1 amp uses a "L" shaped stamped steel chassis. Unlike the hand wired JMI AC-4, the AC4C1 circuitry is constructed on a single printed circuit board. The "top boosted" AC4C1-BL amp included gain, bass, treble and volume controls.

A Celestion/Vox VX10 speaker is mounted into an OSB (oriented strand board) enclosure.

For those not yet ready to take the plunge for an all tube Vox AC-15 or AC-30 amp, the AC4C1 is a great amp to introduce the player to Vox tone.
