Vox AC30TB and AC30TBX Egg Foot Switch

Every Vox AC30TB and AC30TBX included a single button "egg" shaped foot switch. This foot switch controlled the "Vib/Trem" effect.

The foot switch was sand cast from aluminum and featured a Vox logo.

The foot switch utilizes a SPST switch mechanism. A fifteen foot cable with a 1/4" phone jack connects the foot switch to the amplifier.

The bottom of the foot switch has a self adhesive rubber tread to seal the switch mechanism from dirt. This tread also keeps the pedal from sliding on the floor.

North Coast Music purchased the original sand casting mold for this pedal from Vox in 2003. A picture of this sand casting mold can be seen at left. This mold casts eight "egg" foot switches simultaneously.
