The fawn vinyl version of the AC15CC1 and AC15CC1X amps was an aftermarket conversion offered exclusively by North Coast Music.

North Coast Music built an entirely new cabinet of 13 ply baltic birch to replace the original pressed board enclosure. The new enclosure has the same dimensions as the original, but is covered in 1990s era Vox fawn vinyl and has "perfect" vinyl corners. The baltic birch enclosure improves both the tone and the durability of the AC15CC1.

The fawn amp conversion was available from North Coast with either the 12" Vox Wharfedale speaker or the 12" Vox Alnico Blue speaker made by Celestion. It was discontinued in 2010.
