Another unique VOX guitar shape was the tear drop design. Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones was one of the first musicians to utilize this style guitar and was partly responsible for its wide acceptance by mid-sixties' musicians.
The Mark VI had three pickups; six closed backed tuners; a two way adjustable string damper; spring vibrato and detachable padded cushion on the back. The twelve string version of the Mark VI was called the Mark XII. |
