The Mando guitar is a short scale version of a twelve string guitar and is essentially the same as capoing a regular twelve string on the twelvth fret. This guitar produced a unique sound which can be clearly heard on The Beatles version of "Words of Love" as performed by George Harrison.
It had two pickups and a three way toggle switch and open backed tuning pegs. |
