Pictured here is a folder of early sixties Jennings service manuals. I took this manual from the attic of the original JMI building on Dartford Road in Kent during the summer of 1994. The proprietor of the former JMI building at that time was a sound and lighting contractor. He allowed me to search through the paperwork in his attic left behind by JMI. Some years later, my good friend Jim Elyea, author of "Vox Amplifiers, The JMI Years," also visited this same attic at Vox and picked up items I left behind in 1994.
The manual above is historically significant in that it has the words "Mr Underdown's Copy" in the upper right corner. Derek Underdown and Les Hills developed the Continental Organ for JMI. The folder contains schematics, service notes, schematic blue prints and other miscellaneous notes and product information. |
