The right hand side (rear view) of a modern AC-30TB includes the Top Boost channel controls as well as the power section. Missing from the modern AC-30TB control panel is the multi-tap voltage selector of earlier VOX models. A standby switch is now included.
Note the "A VOX Product" moniker at the lower right of the control panel. This moniker can be used as a good indicator when dating VOX amplifiers to within their respective production eras. "A JMI Product" (1958-1967), "VOX Sound Limited" (1968-1977), "VOX Limited" (1978-1991) and "A VOX Product" (1993-Present) are clear indicators of specific VOX production dates and usually provide for narrowing amplifier models to certain production eras. |
