The Concert 100 was a Rose-Morris designed amplifier in the now classic stack design. It came with two 4x12" speaker cabinets complete with the usual VOX fret cloth. The Concert 100 achieved good sales in England and European markets. But, due to tooling changes at Rose-Morris, its market life was cut short before it made a true name for itself. This amplifier is very punchy, loud and great sounding. It included a master volume which allowed the musican to create distortion at any level.
The Concert 100 was part of Rose-Morris' Venue Series of products and was designed in large part to compete against the Marshall stack amplifier. The chassis layout, the rear power and speaker output sections, the handle, and front panel control layout are similarly constructed as Marshall had been constructing their amplifiers for a number of years before the introduction of the Concert 100. |
