Close-up: The AC-50 Super Twin's Power Section.

Pictured above is the AC-50's power section showing the on/off switch, the fuse holder, the power indicator light and the voltage selector. The voltage selector pictured here is a later version. Earlier versions were simply a plug selector similar to Marshall amplifiers in the seventies. All properly setup tube VOX's can run safely with the voltage selector in the 160 voltage position. This runs the tubes a little hotter and gives an overdriven sound at lower volumes.
