| Early top boosted AC-30's had the top boost electronics on the back panel. This was facilitated by an "L" shaped metal structure fastened to the chassis support panel and a laminate covering that was made visible through a cut out on the back panel of the amplifier. This top boost modification contained one tube and a bass and treble control. |
