"Gary,
Forty some years ago, I started playing the guitar. The lucky kids had new Fender Mustangs and Princeton Reverbs, I had a $50 catalog guitar and a second hand Sears Silvertone with 2X12’s. When I visited the local music store to buy 3 picks for a quarter, a Black Diamond E string and politely ask for a Fender catalog, I would dream about owning a Strat and trying to decide whether to get a Band Master or Super Reverb. Then came the Beatles, everything changed, I never thought in my wildest dreams I would ever have an AC-100. A few Vox amps later, I finally get the VOX AD-100VTH, SHEA amp. I can’t thank you enough. It is a work of art. It is amazing, playing in front of it, how time steps back many years, I see the amp, hear it and still can’t believe it. The music, the amp, the Vox sound and the smiles that are timeless. Well worth the wait.
We spent lots of time with the AB switch and the AC-30TBX, and we got some very good results to get the AD-100VTH sound like the AC-30.
Thanks for your magic and works of art. We will enjoy them for the next forty years....hopefully.

North Coast "Shea" Amp - When the Beatles played their legendary first concert at Shea Stadium in New York, three Vox AC-100 amplifiers stood tall and proud behind John, Paul, and George. North Coast Music now recreates a modern version of the 100 watt amp used by the Beatles, and we call it the "Shea" amp.
The speaker cabinet, manufactured by North Coast Music and hand built by "Doctor Vox" under license from Vox, includes the correct vertical JMI Vox nameplate, chrome swivel trolley stand with Vox handwheels, and four North Coast Music 12" Black Bulldog speakers in the open backed enclosure, installed and wired. No Midax horns are included or available. Matching vinyl is installed on the speaker enclosure and head.
The NCM "Black Dog" Loudspeaker is custom manufactured specifically for North Coast Music by Eminence. The "Black Dog" is designed to recreate the tones of that famous "blue alnico" speaker at a fraction of the cost. The cabinet is wired in mono to 8 ohms, allowing the the AD100VTH head in its special, North Coast Music exclusive AC-100 style cabinet, to develop its maximum power.
Like the 1965 JMI Vox AC-100 head, the new Vox AD100VTH head also develops 100 watts RMS into 8 ohms, and shares the classic Vox small box shape. The 1965 AC-100 head had only three comtrols, while the AD100VTH features amp modeling, various delays and echoes, tremolo, rotary speaker, among many other efeatures and effects. This is a special order amp.
Speaker Cab Dimensions less trolley: 40" tall, 27" wide, 11 3/4" deep. About 100 pounds.
Head Dimensions :7" tall, 19.25" wide, 10 1/2" deep. About 30 pounds.
Please note the following carefully regarding shipping:
Freight is free to any state in the US except the following: Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington state. Residents of these states musr order using the GRAY box near the bottom of this page. Freight to these states is so high that I require a partial contribution to the freight cost. All customers will pay the mandatory $75 crating fee for this amp unless they are picking it up at North Coast Music directly, in which case, you must pay 5.6% WI tax.
This free freight is for a semi truck shipment that is a "one visit to your home, back of the trailer delivery." This means you will have to unload the amp from the back of a semi truck that will deliver it to your home. The truck drivers do not ordinarily assist in this delivery, and the speaker cab, in the shipping crate, approaches 200 pounds. If the shipment cannot be delivered the first time the truck visits your home, you will have to pay for a redelivery charge, North Coast Music only pays for the first delivery attempt.
All states excepting AZ, CA, FL, NV, OR, and WA have totally free freight, and should order using the YELLOW box below. Residents of AZ, CA, FL, NV, OR, and WA should please order using the info in the GRAY box.
