 North Coast Music "New Guardsman"- Combine all the style and portable size of the 1960's era Vox Royal Guardsman speaker enclosure with an AD120VTH Valvetronix amp head regrilled with black Vox diamond grill cloth and a horizontal Thomas Vox logo and you have the magnificent North Coast Music exclusive "New Guardsman" amplifier

The speaker cabinet, manufactured by North Coast Music and hand built by "Doctor Vox" under license from Vox, includes the correct vertical Thomas Vox nameplate, chrome swivel trolley stand with Vox handwheels, and two North Coast Music 12" Black Bulldog speakers in the closed back enclosure, installed and wired. No Goodmans Midax horn is included or even available as Goodmans ceased producing these horns in the mid 1970s. Matching vinyl is installed on the speaker enclosure and head.

The NCM "Black Dog" Loudspeaker is custom manufactured specifically for North Coast Music by Eminence. The "Black Dog" is designed to recreate the tones of that famous "blue alnico" speaker at a fraction of the cost. The cabinet is wired in stereo to allow the AD120VTH head to deliver its full tone potential.

Unlike the 1967 60 watt RMS, 120 watt peak Vox Royal Guardsman, the Vox AD120VTH head develops 120 watts RMS, 240 watts peak, and shares the classic Vox trapezoidal shape. We changed the grill and logo on the AD120VTH to look like a 1967 Royal Guardsman head, but after that change, the resemblance ceases. The 1967 Royal Guardsman had reverb, tremolo, fuzz, MRB (mid range boost), and treble boost in its gutar channels. The AD120VTH also has reverb (three types), tremolo, fuzz , and treble boost, but adds stereo, chorus, flanger, phaser, a rotary speaker effect, compressor, octaver, numerous types of echo, wah, autowah, several types of overdrive, and modeling of eighteen of the worlds most popular amplifiers.

VC-12 - Optional VC-12 Foot Controller - The VC-12 starts with the same capabilities of the VC-4 Foot Controller, such as Program Selection, Tap Tempo, built-in Tuner (with Mute function), Individual Effects On/Off selection, Wah pedal (that can also control Volume), external Volume pedal input, and Parameter Control. It also offers a second Controller pedal for Volume (both pedals are heavy duty, chrome topped, as used on Vox Wah pedals), as well as large, heavy duty stomp box switches, independent Bank Up/Down switches, and a Recall switch to automatically revert to the prior selected program.

The VC-12 only works with the AD120VT, AD120VTX, AD120VTH, AD60VT, AD60VTX, and AD60VTH amplifiers. It does not work with the AD15VT, AD30VT, AD50VT, AD50VT-212, AD100VT, or the AD100VTH. It also does not work with any of the AC or DA series amps.

Thomas Vox Clamp to Secure Head Cabinet to Trolley - An exact reproduction of the fifteen guage steel clamp bracket and wingbolt that was originally provided as an accessory with all Vox Super Beatle, Beatle, Royal Guardsman, Buckingham, Westmiinster, and Series 90 amplifiers.

All of these Thomas Vox amp heads have a threaded "tee nut" on the inside lower panel of their cabinets that was designed to accept this steel clamp and wingbolt. Installable in under 15 seconds, this accurate reproduction of the original Vox clamp will firmly secure your precious vintage Thomas Vox amp head to the stand so that it cannot fall off the trolley. You need make no modifications to a Thomas amp head to use this clamp.

Like the originals, the head clamp is finished in a dark gray/black zinc oxide finish that will not rust.

This head clamp will also work with any of the North Coast Music trolleys for Vox amps, such as the Beatle, Royal Guardsman, and Buckingham.

If you have a Vox AD120VTH or AD60VTH head that you place on a Beatle, Guardsman, Buckingham, or Westminster stand, you may request below, at no additional charge, an easy to install kit to install the tee nut into the bottom of your head cabinet. The installation of this "tee nut" does not require you to take apart your amp head or invalidate your warranty.

This clamp may also be used with the AC-30CCH "Custom Classic" head with a North Coast Music chrome swivel trolley, but you must first remove the chassis and reverb pan to install the tee nut in the bottom of the head cab.

If you have previously purchased a Super B or New Guardsman, you also have the option to install this bracket into your amp, again, not requring you to take apart your amplifier top.

This clamp will not work with the Berkeley, Cambridge, Pathfinder, or Pacemaker series of amps.

In no circumstance is North Coast Music or Korg USA responsible for the costs of freight or carriage to and from an authorized Vox Service Center.
