North Coast Music New AC-100 - North Coast Music is proud to introduce the "New AC-100," which combines all the tone, style, and power of the 1964 JMI Vox AC-100 with new modern features such as dual channels with channel switching, gain controls, bass, middle, treble and presence controls, boost switches, and spring reverb.
North Coast Music starts by modifying the front panel appearance of the AC-100CPH head. A gold fascia strip (like on an AC-30) divides the vinyl section near the bottom of the front panel from the upper side with Vox diamond fret cloth. This makes the AC-100CP head look more like a vintage Vox amp head.
The 1964 JMI Vox AC-100 head featured only one channel and three controls, (volume, bass, and treble), but the new Vox AC-100CP head features dual switchable channels offering both vintage AC-100 and modern British overdrive channels. The AC-100 speaker cabinet, manufactured by North Coast Music under license to Vox and hand built by "Doctor Vox" includes all baltic birch plywood construction, accurate British manufactured "H" pattern vinyl, the correct vertical JMI Vox nameplate, chrome swivel trolley stand with Vox handwheels, and four North Coast Music 12" Black Bulldog speakers in the open back enclosure. No Midax horns are included or available, and this cabinet is not available with a closed back. A speaker cable is included to connect the cabinet to the head.
The NCM "Black Dog" Loudspeaker is custom manufactured specifically for North Coast Music by Eminence. The "Black Dog" is designed to recreate the tones of that famous English made "blue alnico" speaker. The cabinet is wired to 16 ohms. The AC-100CPH head develops a full 100 watts into a 16 ohm load.

Please note the following regarding shipping: Use the yellow box above to order the "New AC-100" to be shipped to any state in the US except the following: Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington state. Residents of these states musr order using the GRAY box near the bottom of this page. Freight to these states is so high that I must charge an extra $50 for delivery.
This free freight is for a semi truck shipment that is a "one visit to your home, back of the trailer delivery." This means you will have to unload the amp from the back of a semi truck that will deliver it to your home. The truck drivers do not ordinarily assist in this delivery, and the speaker cab, in the shipping crate, approaches 200 pounds. If the shipment cannot be delivered the first time the truck visits your home, you will have to pay for a redelivery charge, North Coast Music only pays for the first delivery attempt.
