The VT40+ is the one of the new Valvetronix VT+ amp series from Vox. It expands on the heritage and abilities of the Valvetronix AD and VT Series of amps and offers the largest palette of tone tools ever found in a Vox amplifier.

The power section of the VT40+ includes the Vox Valve Reactor power amp stage. The Valve Reactor power amp design converts a single 12AX7 tube into a one watt power amp. The output from this one watt tube power amp is directed into a completely transparent 40 watt solid state amp. This unique and patented hybrid power amp stage offers true tube tone without all the weight and cost. This amp powers one 10" special design Vox speaker.

And now, you can get your VT40+ customized with traditional brown or black Vox grill cloth, white piping and gold fascia strip. You can even order the amp with a gold Vox logo to replace the silver factory installed nameplate. This aftermarket cosmetic conversion is completed at North Coast Music and does not affect your warranty.

	The new Valvetronix+ Series boasts an amazing collection of 33 distinct amp models, a new milestone for Valvetronix amplifiers. Using the rotary control on the top panel, select any of the eleven amp models, all based on some of the world's greatest amplifiers. A push button to the upper right of the rotary model selector offers three variations of each of these amp models.
	The VT+ amps allow 8 user programs to be stored in the internal memory of the amplifier. In addition, Vox has programmed 99 tone presets into the amp, giving you instant access to some of the world's greatest guitar sounds.
	Vox has included eleven of the most popular guitar pedal effects into the VT+ Series amplifiers. These pedal effects may be remotely controlled using the optional Vox VFS5 foot pedal. A Pedal Level control adjusts the intensity of the effect.
	The Mod/Delay section of the VT+ amps provides modulation effects such as tremolo, phase, flange, and chorus. It also offers delay effects such as a simulated tape echo. A Mod/Delay Depth control adjusts the intensity of the effect.
	A rotary control located on the control panel adjusts the level of three different types of reverb; Room, Spring, and Hall.
	Another rotary control located on the control panel adjusts the power level of the amp from one watt to the maximum outpit of the amplifier. An Aux In jack allows an MP3 player to be connected to the amp, and a Phones jack allows silent late night practicing with the amp.

	"Modern Two Pin" Genuine Vox Corner - Fits the VT Plus Series amps. The VT20+ and VT40+ use six of these corners, the VT80+ and VT120+ use eight. Customer installation is simple, but North Coast Music does not offer installation on amps purchased here, sorry. You may need to reposition the feet to accommodate the corners. In no circumstance is North Coast Music or Korg USA responsible for the costs of freight or carriage to and from an authorized Vox Service Center.
