    What if I already own an VT100? Can I buy just the brown or black Vox grill kit for the VT100 from North Coast Music and install it myself?

    Unfortunately, no, this grill kit is not available for customer installation.

    The installation of this grill kit requires a full disassembly of the amp. It also requires that ten holes to be precisely drilled through the speaker (baffle) board. These holes accomodate machine screws that hold the specially made plywood grill board assembly covered in brown or black Vox grill cloth to the amp. This is not a simple, velcro type of grill assembly, but instead, it is rather a fairly difficult installation that was developed by our "Doctor Vox" exclusively for the VT100 customers of North Coast Music.

    Only North Coast Music NCM-055 AC-30 rigid stands have the four vertical pins on the horizontal amp support cross tubes, as the Beatles also had on their stands. If you shop for this stand elsewhere, the stand you purchase will not have these pins or be "Beatle correct." Yet another North Coast Music exclusive!

    AD100VT/VT100/AC50CP2 Rigid Chrome Stand - Rigid stand as seen used by The Beatles in early 1960's, manufactured exclusively by North Coast Music. Use this stand for a Vox AD120VT or VTX amp, JMI AC-30 combo, AC-30TB or TBX, the new AC-30CC2 or 2X, AD100VT, VT100, or AC-30 extension cabinet. Amplifier sits on top of stand.

    The four "Beatle correct" vertical guide piins on this stand help to properly align the amp when placing it upon the top of the stand, but do not actually touch the front or rear of the amp when sitting on the stand. The feet on the amp center the amp on the stand, not the bent pins.

    Many have asked about using this stand with other amps than Vox. For those people, here are the dimensions of the amp tray: The absolute total maximum width of the amp tray is 27.6". The distance between the two parallel amp support tubes is 8.625", or 10.375" to the outside of the same tubes. The stand raises the amp about 15" above the floor.
