It seems these days that more original sixties era Vox amplifier tops survived than the accompanying enclosures. Many of the surviving enclosures have been severely damaged or have been modified from stock.

It was because there were so few good sixties era Vox enclosures still available in collectible condition that we decided to carefully measure up some of the original enclosures in the North Coast Collection and build accurate reproductions.

Oh, Doctor ! ! !

Have recently received two cabinets from you, an AC-30 ext. cab and an AC-100 thin wall loaded. I anticipated a quality product but what I received is truly outstanding! Every single aspect regarding quality materials, fit and finish exceeded my highest expectations. What sealed my opinion is the fact that even the pattern on the grill cloth is perfectly centered, perfectly level and the cloth is layed down with even tension. Aside from superior engineering and materials, there is an obvious presence of artistry and pride in this cabinet work. Well done!!!

Excepting Thomas style enclosures, all are constructed from 13 ply baltic birch, and feature the original "H" pattern vinhyde. Most feature "one pin" corners where appropriate. We aim to maintain the high quality standards for which Vox is famous. These enclosures are manufactured by and exclusive to North Coast Music under license from Vox UK.
