The Rickenbacker 4003 is our most popular RIC bass. It is famous for its ringing sustain, treble punch, and deep underlying bass.

The 4003 bass features "neck through body" construction for markedly superior sustain and tone.A dual field truss rod assembly allows each side of the neck to be adjusted individually. Cross lamination also adds to neck rigidity.

Two single pole, hum protected, pickups offer wide range response and high pickup output. The height is fully adjustable. The bass comes prewired for stereo.

The combination tailpiece and bridge is uniquely designed to reflect back maximum string energy as extra punch. The bridge is fully adjustable for height and intonation, and features individual saddles for each string.

The three way pickup selector combines with four rotary controls for volume and tone to offer nearly limitless tonal variations.

Rickenbacker is legendary for their paint finishes. The finishes have a mirror like quality that is extremely resistant to bumps and crazing.

All Rickenbacker 4003 basses include a hardshell case with a plush lining.
