| The Rickenbacker 4001C64 is a faithful recreation of the "other" bass played by Paul McCartney in the Beatle era.
The 4001C64 features neck through solid body construction for markedly superior sustain and tone. The neck, with striped headstock, actually runs the full length of the body.
The necks on the 4001C64 are fast, narrow, and superbly playable. The headstock features walnut wings on either side of a maple center. Additionally, the 4001C64 has a "reversed" headstock standard, so that even right handed bass players can have that Beatle look.
Two Rickenbacker pickups are included. The neck pickup is the wonderful Rickenbacker scatter wound 7.4k toaster pickup, while the bridge has the original style "horseshoe" pickup as designed in 1931. The micro-adjustable bridge with individual string saddles allows for perfect intonation. The three way pickup selector combines with four rotary controls for volume and tone to offer nearly limitless tonal variations.
The 4001C64 bass is available in Fireglo or Mapleglo, and the reversed headstock is standard on this model.
The Rickenbacker 4001C64 Series bass includes a hardshell case with a plush lining.
Due to franchise restrictions, we may not ship Rickenbackers outside the US, Canada, and Mexico.
