While this Electric Master Sitar plays exactly like a six string guitar, it features a special bridge to recreate the sound of a sitar. It also including a set of sympathetic strings that resonate as "drones" automatically with the strumming of the normal six strings.
Three pickups with individual volume and tone controls are standard, including one pickup over the sympathetic strings. Please do not confuse the Jerry Jones Master Sitar with cheaply made Chinese knock off copies sold by others that pale in tone and playability when compared to this US made product.
We normally stock the Master Sitar in either the red or white gator finish.
A deluxe, vintage style hard shell case is included with each Master Sitar.
