	Here are a stack of Beatle Bass necks after their basic shaping is completed. Hofner uses a unique process in shaping these necks that involves a master neck profile jig that is used by a specially manufactured, proprietary shaping machine. This insures that there is precision and consistancy on each finished neck.
After machine shaping, Hofner craftsman inspect each neck for wood imperfections and finish the shaping process by hand.
	Next, the neck is precision fitted to the body, binding is applied, and the guitar is lacquered. Here we see Klaus Schoeller, manufacturing director at Hofner, holding a "beautiful blonde" Deluxe Beatle Bass, awaiting completion.
