Designed for 15/64" (slightly less than 1/4") pot shaft size only. This knob will not fit on 1/4" or 1/8" pot shafts. This knob will fit on a Hofner Icon or Contemporary Series bass.
Some Hofner Beatle basses produced in the 1960s and 1970s have 1/8" shafts on their volume potentiometers. These knobs will not fit on these basses.

H65/37 Hofner Bass Truss Rod Cover for Vintage 62 and 63 Bass
The screw holes on this truss rod cover do not necessarily line up with those in a Hofner Icon bass. If you wish to install this truss cover on a Hofner Icon or Contemporary bass, expect that you will have to drill new holes for the mounting screws. Screws are not included by Hofner, nor does North Coast Music have suitable screws to offer.
