The Contemporary version of the 500/5 (President) bass, inspired by the models of the 1950's and 60's as played by Stuart Sutcliffe in the early days of The Beatles. With a fully hollow 16.5" wide body and fitted with close spaced original Höfner 'Black Bar' pick-ups (as used on the recent German Hofner V58 limited edition Beatle Bass reissue). Fitted with the famous Höfner control panel to ensure a great sixties style sound. A vintage style bass that allows you to capture the tones of the 50s and 60s at a very affordable price.

Unfortunately, Hofner does not offer either a hard shell case or a gig bag for the President Bass at this time. North Coast Music does not have any suggestions for a case for this instrument.
