Got the guitar on Friday. I am not happy with it... I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with it!!! The action is so low I can barely feel the strings.....The sound and intonation is so perfect. Gary, you are the best! THANKS!
That difference (customer service) is why I ordered from you. Besides the fact that I'm certain you inspect each instrument when you receive them to insure we (your customers) get the best. I know for a fact that the big "G centers", "M friend", and other biggies don't care. I have gotten a couple guitars from the big center and I had to go through several of the same model - on display and boxed before settling on one. Then have to take them in for adjusting... One can't beat your service..........

The G6122-1962 Gretsch Chet Atkins "Country Gentleman" is a faithful recreation of the Chet Atkins endorsed 6122 "Country Gentleman" guitar played by George Harrison of the Beatles. This new model features Gretsch Filtertron pickups, dual rocker action flip up mutes, a padded back, gold plating on all metal parts, and Grover Imperial tuners, A plaque on the headstock features the correct "Country Gentleman" name.
North Coast Music performs a complete set up and through inspection of each Gretsch Country Gentleman guitar prior to shipment. I check and adjust the guitar for correct intonation, proper truss rod adjustment for correct neck relief, low action, and proper operation of all mechanical and electrical functions. I will not just ship you an uninspected sealed factory box, as other online retailers do. Your guitar will arrive ready to play.
The current Gretsch 6122-1962 is hand built to exacting Gretsch standards by the master luthiers at Terada in Japan. A plush lined Gretsch hard shell case is included.
After the shipment has been completed, I will actually email several pictures of your new guitar to you to so you can see your actual guitar while in transit to you.
North Coast Music may only offer new Gretsch guitars to customers inside the United States by franchise restriction. Custoners in Canada, Mexico, and the rest of the world should contact their local Gretsch dealer to purchase a new Gretsch guitar.
