Pete's band uses two T-100 cabs, manufactured by North Coast Music under license to Vox UK, along with the North Coast Music T-100 chrome trolley to complete that early "Beatle" look.

Along with Vox, Premier, and Hofner, North Coast Music is proud to be a sponsor of the "Pete Best- Best of the Beatles" show.

That's me, "Doctorvox," North Coast Music owner, at left with Phil "Fang" Volk, formerly of Paul Revere and The Raiders. Phil will be getting his new Hofner Club Bass through North Coast Music.

Phil is absolutely one of the nicest people I have ever met in the music business, and I am proud to call him a friend.

If you have a copy of the 1967 or 1968 US Vox product catalog, Phil "Fang" Volk is on the cover.

Fang has a great website at, and he'd love you all to see it!

Mike "John" Shumway recently purchased a Vox Valvetronix amp from North Coast Music in one of our new all baltic birch "AC-30" style combo cabs for the AD120VT. This allows the Britins to have all the tone and versatility of the AD120VT along with the classic brown grill cloth look of the AC-30 as used by the Beatles.

The picture at left shows Mike taking delivery of his new Valvetronix amp in our AC-30 style combo the North Coast Music store.

The original AD120VT cabinet uses a permanently glued baffle board assembly, making changing the grill cloth quite impossible.

Additionally, the dovetail jointed baltic bitch cabinet actually weighs less than the original AD120VT enclosure.

Members of the Britins have also purchased an AC-30, a T60 with an AC-50 head, and a Hofner bass from North Coast Music.

Do you remember the Animals hit from 1964, "The House of the Rising Sun?" The guitarist that played the legendary guitar intro to that song was the Animals original guitarist, Hilton Valentine. If you have a copy of the 1967 or 1968 US Vox product catalog, Hilton is on the cover. The Animals used Vox amps and organs exclusively.

When Hilton Valentine wanted to purchase a new Vox AC-30TBX, he chose North Coast Music for his purchase. Thanks, Hilton!

This is me (left) with Alan Parsons. While you might know Alan from his famous solo career with "The Alan Parsons Project," it might interest you to know that Alan was the assistant producer for the Beatles "Abbey Road" album. In fact, it was Alan that used a scissors to cut the tape for the ending of "I Want You (She's So Heavy), as instructed by John Lennon.

Take my advice, and buy all of the Alan Parsons albums! I'd recommend "Turn of a Friendly Card," and "On Air" for starters. These are fabulous redcordings from the master himself.

Jennifer Pirch of the Gore Gore Girls from Detroit purchased her red Burns Bison bass from North Coast Music. The Gore Gore Girls are a fabuolus national act you have got to see!

No one has traveled a greater distance to visit North Coast Music than Zbynek Maulis.

Last fall, Zbynek boarded an airplane from the Czech Republic to come to NCM and to purchase a T100 enclosure. While there have been others that have travelled to North Coast from far away, no one has been able to beat Zbynek!

Zbynek plays in a Beatles tribute band, and you can see him in the picture at lower left.

His band is called "Tribute to the Beatles." Check out that bass drum head very carefully. Where the words "Ludwig" appeared on Ringo's set, you can read the words "Tribute to." Pretty cool idea, don't you think?

So if you are in Prague, make sure to check them out!
