FAQ1: How may I PLACE AN ORDER?
A: I accept orders through our secure online shopping cart, by fax on a North Coast Music order form faxed to (414) 483-3344, by a scanned email attachment on a North Coast Music order form emailed to DOCTORVOX@aol.com, or by snail mail on a North Coast Music order form. Our mailing address is on the North Coast Music order form. I do not accept orders by phone.

FAQ2: What FORMS OF PAYMENT do you accept?
A: I accept VISA and MasterCard credit or debit cards, Discover and American Express credit cards, and United States Postal Service Money Orders.

I do not accept Paypal, money orders other than those from the US Postal Service, direct wire transfers into our bank account, and I do not accept either cashier's or personal checks.



FAQ3: Your SHOPPING CART DOESN'T SEEM TO WORK for me. Why is that?
A: The shopping cart will not work if you entered the North Coast Music web site from a link or through a search engine such as Google. You must pass through our main index page in the website to turn the shopping cart on. The answer to your problem may be very simple. Just click here to reenter the North Coast Music website and try again.

Although this is rare, some MacIntosh operating systems do not work with our shopping cart. If you do not have a friend that will let you order on a Windows based computer, we can offer you a faxable order form to place an order at North Coast Music. FAQ4: I am trying to purchase something from North Coast Music using the shopping cart but the transaction keeps coming up as "DECLINED." What is wrong?
A: When you read that an online purchase has been "DECLINED," this means that your credit card company, not North Coast Music, is declining the purchase. This happens, most frequently, for two reasons. The most common reason is that your credit card company is denying the purchase to defend you from the possibility of the fraudulent use of your credit card. The solution is simple. You may need to call the "800" number on the back of your credit card to authorize the purchase.

The other possibility involves the use of DEBIT CARDS, especially on more major purchases. Most debit cards will not allow you to charge more than $1000 per day.



FAQ5: What is your PHONE NUMBER?
A: I am a one man operation at North Coast Music, I do not have staff to answer the phone, sorry. I will respond promptly by email, even on weekends and holidays whenever possible.



FAQ6: How are SHIPPING COSTS calculated?
A: Continental US (CONUS) Shipments: Each item in the North Coast Music web site shows the cost of CONUS shipping and handling. On orders of multiple items, the total of these shipping and handling costs accumulate.

In some cases, North Coast Music absorbs the shipping cost on a "high ticket" item (usually an amp or a guitar) as a part of our discount price offering. When a customer places an order that combines an item that has such "free shipping" with other items that do not offer free shipping (such as a guitar strap or amp cover), the shipping costs for the cover, strap, or other item, will still apply. Only the published "free shipping" item will have free shipping.

FAQ7: Does North Coast Music offer reduced or WHOLESALE PRICING FOR REPAIR SHOPS or retailers?
A: I am not allowed, through my manufacturing license with Vox, to offer wholesale prices on replacement parts or to set up alternate channels of retail distribution.



FAQ8: Is an ITEM IN STOCK?
A: If you see the following order "quantity box "and "add to order" button next to an item offered in the North Coast Music web site, it is in stock.

However, some products, such as Vox licensed cabinets manufactured by North Coast Music, specify a delayed delivery date range, such as "allow three to four weeks for delivery" in their online offerings. Such items require prepayment in full to start construction of the amp or cabinet, and delivery will occur as indicated in the web site. These are hand built items, please do not expect faster delivery, and rush service is not available, sorry.
