1974/75 Vox Product Catalog - Dallas Arbiter Era - Page 2

Page two of the 1974/75 Vox Product Catalog introduced the fine hand wired Vox AC-30 Top Boost combo amp developed by Dallas Industries. This amp was nearly identical in quality and construction techniques to the JMI Vox AC-30 amps made in the 1960s. The earliest version of this amp, as shown below, was not offered with reverb. Later versions of this Dallas AC-30 amp would be offered with or without "Hammond" reverb. The addition of Hammond based reverb made a significant improvement in the reverb quality when compared to the underperforming reverb circuit in JMI Vox amps that utilzed phono cartridges in the reverb pan.
