Dave Coleman submitted this 1966 picture of his 1960's Vox band, King James and the Royal Peasants. The members were (top row, left to right) Dave Coleman: bass, Dave Liebig: rhythm guitar, Bob Huff: lead singer and guitar. In the bottom row, left to right are Jim VanOstran (aka King James): lead guitar and keyboard and Tom Vaughn on drums.
In addition to the Vox Buckingham guitar amp and Vox Tempest 12 guitar shown in the photo, the band also had a Vox Essex Bass amp and a Vox Teardrop six string.
Do you have a picture of your 1960s band featuring Vox gear? Email the picture to me at firstname.lastname@example.org as a jpeg image and I will add your band to the Vox Showroom "My Vox Band" gallery.
